Small Acetal Ring; This component was a nightmare, undercut so it could be pushed in place and not come off of its housing, it caused our customer serious problems on assembly which of course was always blamed on us. Once we were allowed to investigate and then understand how the ring was supposed to function it was a simple matter of redesigning it to suit machining methods and now it is “just another job”.
